Question 1

How do I find the best restaurants near me?

Accepted Answer

Use DishVote to discover the highest-voted dishes at restaurants in your city. Browse by city or cuisine, or search by restaurant name. Each page shows the #1 community-voted dish in real time, so you know exactly what locals love before you walk in.

Question 2

How do I decide where to eat?

Accepted Answer

DishVote cuts through the noise by ranking individual dishes, not just restaurants. Search a cuisine or city, see the top-voted dishes, and pick the place that serves the meal you're craving. No more scrolling through endless star ratings.

Question 3

What's the best dish to order at a restaurant?

Accepted Answer

On DishVote, every restaurant page displays its #1 voted dish using recorded totals. Dishes are ranked by vote count, with comments explaining why people love them. It's like having a local foodie whisper in your ear.

Question 4

Can I trust online restaurant reviews?

Accepted Answer

DishVote compares individual dishes using recorded totals. These include starter data, member votes and guest votes, so they are not verified reviews or a count of unique diners. Read our ranking methodology and compare current independent feedback before ordering.

Question 5

How do I spot fake restaurant reviews?

Accepted Answer

Look for dish-specific voting patterns instead of generic praise. On DishVote, consistency across many voters on the same dish is a stronger signal than a single glowing review. Recorded totals alone do not verify a visit or guarantee quality.

Question 6

How do I find hidden gem restaurants in my city?

Accepted Answer

Browse DishVote by city and sort by vote count or scroll the feed. Smaller restaurants with passionate voters often rise to the top. The community surfaces places that don't have big marketing budgets but serve unforgettable dishes.
